Shizuoka Gas Co., Ltd. (Hiroshi Tonoya, the president) expresses our heartfelt sympathy for all the people affected by the earthquake on 11th March, 2011.
Shizuoka Gas donated 10 million yen through the Japanese Red Cross Society for relief and restoration of the people and areas affected by the earthquake. In addition, it has also asked for disaster relief contributions from its directors and employees.
Upon request of The Japan Gas Association, Shizuoka Gas dispatched its aid group on 25th March. The aid group consists of 94 members including its group companies and business counterparts. The group will mainly be engaged in gas pipeline repair and gas supply restoration for each user.
Shizuoka Gas sincerely hopes for the speediest possible recovery to everyone in the regions affected by this disaster.
