Shizuoka Gas set a new record with the Company's highest-ever daily sendout of piped natural gas on February 15, 2007, at 3,016,000 m3. This the first time the daily sendout has topped the three million m3 level.
This latest achievement is the result both of an increase in the basic demand level, mainly from industrial users, and of a one-off surge in demand for water heating on February 15, which was one of the coldest days of the month thus far.
