When you move in

When you move into our service area and request gas service, we will send, a Shizuoka Gas Eneria representative to visit you and check for gas leaks, confirm safe ignition, and do any other necessary work. You may request services via telephone.

We are particularly busy between mid-March to mid-April. Be sure to call as quickly as possible when you need service. Have the following information ready when you call:

Information you need to request gas services:

  • Scheduled date and time of move in (the date and time you wish to start gas service)
  • Your full name
  • Your physical address
  • Your telephone number


*You must be at home for us to connect your gas.

Connecting your service

Our representative will visit your house at the scheduled date and time, check for gas leaks, confirm safe ignition, and do any other necessary work. The representative will show you a list of service options from which to choose. You must be at home to grant access to our representative. The entire process should only take between 15 and 20 minutes*.

*More time may be required depending on the gas equipment in your house.
